A New Blog

Hi everyone just dropping in to let you know that I have a new blog over at http://chryssyrae.blogspot.com/ . Its still a work in progress so I still have a few things to add to it.

I will journal more of my thoughts there, it’s a little more personal and I will blog on it more often. I will keep posting here but it will mainly be for slideshows and images.

In the space of 24 hours we went from shooting this…..

You never know what you will get asked to shoot and for sure the extreme contrasts make it more fun. Watch out for the “Shabby Chic” Sofa it will be make star appearances from now on.Steve from the couple above has also warned me that I will require my mountain bike on the morning of the wedding, any ideas on how I will survive would be much appreciated!

We have had a very exciting couple of weeks, filled with weddings , meetings and preparing for an exhibition at the Lighthouse in Wolverhampton -a big thanks to Jane at CultureGen for giving us this fantastic opportunity.

We have also teamed up with two visionary business Divas-Jane & Becky.We will be shooting a very exciting project for them in the next few weeks, we cant reveal too much yet but be rest assured we will post it when we get the go ahead from them.

Heres a few jaw dropping images from Jackie & Duncans wedding, they are absolutely fantastic friends and an amazing couple. I picked these “moments” out for there very strong cinemagraphic feel they convey a feeling of a bygone era-the pool room shots were snatched for about 15 minutes during the evening. We all hung out and had a blast-very Bonnie & Clyde!

 PARISIAN STYLE with SCOTT ROBERT

I’ve added these images from the incredible Parisian tour and opted to diva style it with some french influenced Baroque Wallpaper. I am really into this look at the moment, I was fortunate to shoot some weddings  just recently at Weston Park in Shropshire.The rooms have the most amazing antique Damask Silk Papers and loving all things Diva it has stuck in my creative head.

Scott Robert  definitely has Diva Design Potential (Only kidding) …he is a fully fledged design diva. His work has many fine art qualities and that is what sets him apart , hence why he is one of the most sought after wedding photographers in L.A. Finally a very small sneak preview of some of the work we did in Paris, I will be adding to this show, I intend to do a show for each of the girls so they can link it to their own blogs/websites. This is the beautiful Rachel, an unbelievably gorgeous girl-a cross between a young Britney Spears, Kim Catrell and Keira Knightly-how can one person be blessed with such good looks!! I did these shots on my last day in Paris at the Pompodieu with the outrageous Kim Norduft, Tauren and Christa-we had an absolute blast.

Wow what a show, Well done to Tracie , her team and of course the students. Nicky O celebrity hairdresser made an appearance with an entourage of beautiful models. I felt privileged to have the opportunity to shoot the event.
